Come on Barbie - For the love of Pink!

You may have figured this out already…..Pink is Kenda Kist Jewelry’s signature Color! I’ve tied pink into everything from my branding, photoshoots and if you have had the chance to visit our studio, you’ve experienced the fun pink neon that glows above our jewelry case. Personally, you can find me in pink on most days and like Barbie, fully accessorized!

I’ve have been so inspired by the campy and kitschy way they are promoting this new Barbie Movie and of course with all of the promo looks Andrew Kamal’s styling for Margot Robbie have been genius. My favorite Look being “Earring Magic 1992 Barbie.”

Suffice to say,  there is always controversy surrounding Barbie, however, over the years Barbies have offered broader representations of race, body type, and careers since the first doll debuted 64 years ago in 1959. Her empowerment, career choices, and her “fits” have been an inspiration to us all!
