As an artist, I’m so aware of the artists around me who impact my inspiration. Madonna has always been a huge influence in my life. She is a visionary who is consistently one step ahead of the world around her, open to an ever-evolving artistic expression.

“Lucky Star” is a song that I cherish. We all have those musical influences in our lives where you only need to hear a few beats of the tune and you’re immediately surrounded in memories.

When I first saw our star crystals, I knew exactly what Kenda Kist Jewelry’s next collection would be.

While planning our collection’s photoshoot, I stayed starry-eyed, but I also wanted to pay homage to another feminine powerhouse. One of my favorite films is “Desperately Seeking Susan,” which was ahead of its time with not only two female leads, but also a female director and writer.
